04 From groves to the Grove
Villa Park grew oranges for sixty years. Then it grew a coffee shop.

48 Villa Park growers form the Villa Park Orchards Association. For about sixty years, citrus is the town's crop.

The Villa Park Shopping Center opens: the Town Center on Santiago Blvd.
- 1978
The last packing at the VPOA packing house.
- 1989
The last significant orange grove in Villa Park stops operating.

The Coffee Grove opens in the Town Center, and the town has a grove again.

One Sunday a month, the parking lot turns into a car show.
Villa Park Cars & Coffee meets in front of The Coffee Grove: classics, hot rods, trucks, exotics and motorcycles, a changing line-up every month. Free to bring a car, free to walk around. Grab a cup and come look.
